Fine Art Outdoor Photography
Steffen Faisst was born in 1958 in Freiburg, Germany, close to the beautiful landscape of the Black Forest mountains. He holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and a Master of Business Administration of the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, and filled positions in Research Centres and the pharmaceutical industry in Germany, France and Denmark.
Since 1998, Steffen lives in the Danish city Farum in Northern Zealand, together with his wife Silke and their children Alexander and Daniel.
Steffen started to be seriously interested in photography by the age of 18, where
he mainly focused on macro photography of domestic orchids and insects, but had to
abandon his producing due to career constraints. Inspired by the artistic work of
his wife*, he recently rediscovered his interest in photography, now presenting close-
